CRSPs Exhibit at USAID Information Center
Washington, D.C.
September 21 - December 31, 1998

The Council of the Collaborative Research Support Programs (CRSPs) and the US Agency for International Development (USAID) presented an exhibit highlighting the many development activities and achievements of the nine CRSPs. The exhibit was on display at the USAID Information Center, Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Suite M1, Washington, DC from September 21, 1998 through December 31, 1998 and was open to the public.

The CRSPs link US Land Grant universities with national and international research institutions around the world and provide mutual benefits to the US as well as to participating countries. The CRSPs focus their research on nutrition and income generation through improved food production and natural resource management in the developing countries of Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Eurasia while making important contributions to agriculture and agribusiness in the U.S.

You can browse the gateway web site of the Collaborative Research Support Programs for a "virtual tour" of the exhibit which was on display at the USAID Information Center and for more detailed information regarding the mission, activities, and results of the CRSPs.
